Comprehensive home remodeling project in Kittery, Maine, converting a two-family home back to its original single-family configuration.

It incorporated jacking and rebuilding portions of the home, a new roof, new Marvin windows, red cedar shake siding, custom millwork to match period details, and built-in wood box from salvaged boards from the house, as well as a vaulted master bedroom and custom tile shower and bath. The new kitchen includes white oak cabinetry with quartz and soapstone countertops. We also added a wood stove with a soapstone hearth and tile backsplash. Energy upgrades included insulated exterior sheathing for a thermal break, spray-foamed basement walls, and blown-in insulation for a tight shell.
